The first look at Lady Gaga in Joker 2 unveiled!
Lady Gaga is playing DC mainstay Harley Quinn in the sequel to Joker.
Filmmaker Todd Phillips sharing a first look at her in character on Instagram.
Gaga has previously worked with Phillips on A Star Is Born, which he produced.
As reported filming is underway in New York and Los Angeles for the much-anticipated sequel titled Joker: Folie à deux.
If plans go unchanged, Warner Bros. will release the film on Oct. 4, 2024.
While the filmmakers have kept tight-lipped about Joker 2, it is assumed that the sequel will pick up with Phoenix’s killer clown after he’s been admitted to Arkham Asylum.
Last year in December, Director Todd Phillips teased fans by sharing the first look at Joaquin Phoenix in ‘JOKER 2’ and revealed that the filming has kicked off.
The first image from the set revealed that the homicidal Arkham Asylum convict is lying dead-eyed as he’s receiving a shave from what appears to be an orderly at the facility.
Phoenix, who won the Oscar for best actor for his performance in the R-rated original 2019 film, seems to have readopted the wiry physique.
The 2019 film grossed $1 billion at the box office.
