Saginaw Grant, prolific Native American actor of “The Lone Ranger” fame died on Wednesday aged 85.
He also had a guest-starring role in AMC’s “Breaking Bad” where he played a truck driver in the 2013 episode, “Ozymandias.”
He was also the hereditary chief of the Sac & Fox Nation of Oklahoma.
His publicist Lani Carmichael confirmed the news in a statement to the Associated Press saying that he passed away at a private care facility in Hollywood, California.
“His motto in life was always respected one another and don’t talk about one another in a negative way,” she said.
The news of his death was also shared on his Facebook page, stating: “It’s with heavy hearts we announce a warrior has been called home. Saginaw Morgan Grant, the hereditary chief and medicine man of the Sac & Fox tribe, traveled the world speaking of his traditions, his experiences, his sobriety, and his faith as both a Native American and a Christian.”
