‘Star Wars’ film in reportedly in the works from Damon Lindelof

Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy is reported to be in talks to direct a new “Star Wars” film!

As reported, the co-creator of “Lost” and Emmy-winning executive producer of “Watchman” is developing a new “Star Wars” film for Lucasfilm.

Lindelof will co-write the new film, with his writing partner yet to be announced.

Obaid-Chinoy has already set a benchmark as a two-time Oscar winner for directing the short documentaries “Saving Face” and “A Girl in the River: The Price of Forgiveness.”

In her most recent work, she directed two episodes of Marvel’s Disney+ series “Ms. Marvel.”

As the project gets a green light, it would be Lindelof’s fourth foray into revitalizing a major sci-fi franchise.
