Singer Ali Sethi and Hadiqa Kiani have paid a powerhouse tribute to Pakistan’s legendary ghazal singer Farida Khanum at an event organized by Salman Sufi Foundation.
By taking it to social media, event organizer Salman Sufi shared the clips of the event where the duo performed at the Aaj Janay Ki Zid Na Karo concert.
And the best part about the evening was when Khanum sang to the crowd.
As being reported, this is the first in a series of concerts to honour Pakistani legends.
Ali Sethi also took to social media sharing the highlights of the event.
In an Instagram post, Ali Sethi shared, “What a night at the #alhamra #artscouncil with me and @hadiqakianiofficial paying tribute to Maestra #faridakhanum I was especially moved to hear the heartwarming video message recorded by my border-paar friend and colleague @rekha_bhardwaj.”
“Thank you #salmansufifoundation for making it possible — may we have many more mellifluous mehfils in all the cities of our glorious subcontinent “, he further added.
