Ali Zafar reacted to Bollywood’s rendition of his song ‘Dil Jhoom’, and it seems to be an approval.
Bollywood’s upcoming film Crakk, will feature a spin on Pakistani singer Ali Zafar’s hit song, Jhoom.
The song in question was released a day earlier and the original singer taking it to social media gave his approval to the retention.
Sharing the song on X-platform, Ali Zafar wrote, “Good Stuff. I like it.”
Helmed by the giant music label T-Series, Jhoom is sung by Shreya Ghoshal joining hands with music composer Vishal Mishra.
The good thing is that Dil Jhoom has heartily complied with all due protocols of crediting original artists and inspirations.
Ali Zafar’s name also features across promotional materials, including the description under YouTube’s music video for having “originally written and composed” the song.
Earlier, Shreya Ghoshal in a post on X, expressed her deep admiration for Ali Zafar.
Showering praise for the original singer of Jhoom, Ghoshal wrote, ” Dil jhoom jhoom chale jhoom chale sohneya. I have always been a big fan of @AliZafarsays and the beautiful song Jhoom! It’s very close to my heart.. and I can’t wait for you all to listen to the song once again as a part of the film Crakk with @VishalMMishra and @tanishkbagchi. Stay tuned!”
Ali Zafar also responded to Shreya Ghoshal‘s homage to his musical creation.
