A commercial bank in Karachi reportedly received ‘misprinted’ Rs1,000 currency notes!

A case of providing misprinted currency notes to a commercial bank in Karachi’s Model Colony area came to light on Tuesday. has come to light. 

As reported, in two bundles of Rs 1,000 notes supplied to the bank, two misprinted notes were found.

The currency notes in question had perfect front sides, however, the back side of the notes were totally blank.

Following the report, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has started an investigation into the matter.
