Babar Azam under pressure after Pakistan crashes out of World Cup, report

Babar Azam is reported to be under pressure after Pakistan crashed out of the World Cup 2023.

As per the sources, an axe is likely to fall on skipper Babar Azam, head coach Grant Bradburn and team director Mickey Arthur after a dismal performance in the much anticipated cricketing event of the year.

The sources also claim that the management committee of the PCB is considering retaining Babar Azam for the Test series against Australia beginning next month.

While some unconfirmed reports suggest that Babar is likely to resign as captain.

Furthermore, the sources also claim that the PCB is contemplating appointing local coaches instead of relying on foreign ones.

The PCB has reportedly contacted former Pakistani cricketers in this regard.
