Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman on Sunday went to visit former president Asif Zardari at Karachi’s Ziauddin Hospital.
The JUI-F chief arrived the city on Saturday to attend the second rally of opposition alliance, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) held at Bagh e Jinnah ground in Karachi.
Prior to attend the Karachi’s rally, Maulana Fazlur Rehman met PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari at Ziauddin Hospital to check up on his health and also discussed political matters.
At opposition’s power show in Jinnah ground, about 160 feet long and 60 feet wide stage has been placed while over 50,000 chairs have also been arranged to facilitate the participants.
The power show is being hosted by Pakistan People’s Party, where prominent leaders of the country’s opposition parties are expected to give speeches and show their strength against the PTI government.
The PDM, which is comprised of 11 opposition parties, has vowed to stage rallies across the country to begin a movement against the government.
