Gold prices in Pakistan have skyrocketed to a newest record as the yellow metal emerged as investors’ safe haven amidst a sea of uncertainty during COVID-19 pandemic.
All Sindh Sarafa and Jewellers Association (ASSJA) issued gold rates on Wednesday which showed that the price has been increased with Rs700 to 105,200 per tola.
Gold prices in the international market increased by $12 to $1,782.

The virus outbreak has been pushing the gold prices up, ASSJA chief, Haroon Chand said.
Earlier two days ago, the gold price was recorded Rs104,400 a tola with an increase of Rs 1600.
