Governor Sindh Imran Ismail Launches Baytee App for Women

Governor of Sindh, Imran Ismail has unveiled the mobile application Baytee which aims at empowering women by creating awareness of their rights. The launch ceremony of the app was held at a local hotel in Karachi, where the Governor spoke of the initiative.

“Baytee would be helpful in empowering women in the country as it aimed at making girls know about their rights and providing due facilities to the women,” said Imran Ismail at the launch event.

The governor credited IT Ministry and its former head Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui for the app’s launch which he said will play a pivotal role in facilitating the federal government’s largest social protection program Ehsas.

Among the attendees of the launch event were Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar and Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui himself.
