Government okays Rs10 per litre increase in petrol price to be in effect from April 16.
The federal government on Saturday increased the petrol price by Rs10 per litre, taking the price to Rs282 per litre.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar announced the increase and said, the government had increased the price by “only” Rs10 per litre. “However, the prices for high diesel and light speed diesel will remain unchanged,” he added.
While Kersone oil’s price per litre has been increased by Rs5.78, Govt okays Rs10 per litre increase in petrol price taking the price per litre to Rs186.07.
