Greta Thunberg joins calls for Gaza ceasefire

Climate change activist called for an “immediate ceasefire” of the Israel-Hamas conflict

Greta Thunberg has joined calls for a ceasefire in Gaza as Israel continues its offensive against Palestinians!

Climate change activist in a post on X, said, “Week 270. Today we strike in solidarity with Palestine and Gaza. The world needs to speak up and call for an immediate ceasefire, justice, and freedom for Palestinians and all civilians affected.”

In a photo shared along the post, Thunberg posed with three others, who held play cards in support of Gaza as well— with one reading ‘Free Palestine’ and another stating ‘This Jew stands with Palestine’.

Over 3,785 Palestinians have been killed and over 13,000 wounded so far in ongoing Israeli retaliatory strikes since Oct 7.
