PML-N’s Hina Pervez Butt was heckled by PTI supporters in London, and the now-viral video clip on social media reveals the shameful act.
The video in question was also posted by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hina Parvez Butt on X, formerly Twitter shows she was harassed by people — seemingly from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters — who also threw a bottle and hurled abuses at her in presence of her son.
Sharing the video clip on her X-handle, Hina Butt said, “Rude and unruly PTI people have stooped to the extent of assaulting me in front of my son in London, throwing bottles at me and hurling foul abuse at me. Are these uncivilized people making Pakistan’s name bright or defaming it?”
Severe condemnations are pouring in on social media timelines from Twitteratis who termed the act reprehensible.
This is not the first incident of such kind.
Last year in September, former information minister Marriyum Aurangzeb was heckled in a coffee shop in London.
And many can not forget the incident that took place on the premises of Masjid–e–Nabvi in Madina when the PML-N government’s delegation was mistreated, chased, and heckled by the pilgrims last year in June.
The pilgrims were seen heckling and chanting abusive slogans against federal ministers Marriyum Aurangzeb and Shahzain Bugti, as the pair were escorted by Saudi guards.
