The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday suspended PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s sentence in the Toshakhana case.
A division bench of the IHC, comprising Chief Justice Aamer Farooq and Tariq Mehmood Jahangir announced the the decision on Tuesday that was reserved a day earlier.
In the decision, the court directed the authorities to release the PTI chief on bail.
The PTI chief has been directed to submit a surety bond of Rs100,000 against the bail, as per the sources.
The court said it would elaborate on the reasons for the suspension of the sentence in the detailed verdict to be issued later.
