Islamabad administration bans pillion riding in the federal capital for 10 days (July 21 to July 30)!
The Islamabad administration has imposed a ban on pillion riding during the month of Muharram for security reasons.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Shahryar Arif issued a notification in this regard stating that pillion riding will remain banned in Islamabad from July 21 to July 30, 2023.
While, families, senior citizens, journalists, and government officials have been exempted from the ban.
Earlier the Sindh government also banned pillion riding in the province on 9,10 Muharram citing security reasons.
