Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party president Aleem Khan on Thursday announced that the party would submit an application to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for its registration.
Aleem Khan added the party would get massive support from northern and southern Punjab.
“We will contest the elections from each constituency and field the best candidates,” he said.
Aleem Khan said that the party has experienced and seasoned politicians.
“Agriculture and prosperity of farmers will be a key part of the manifesto,” he added.
Aleem Khan has consulted the party leaders with regard to the party manifesto, an election strategy, and other matters.
IPP President has directed party leaders to expedite the mass-contact campaign and political activities.
The electoral watchdog has already sought applications from eligible political parties to obtain election symbols for the 2023 general elections.
Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, IPP Central Information Secretary confirmed that the party has finalised the election symbol internally.
She said now, they are preparing to officially request the Election Commission of Pakistan for the allocation of the eagle symbol.
