A three-year-old girl has been rescued alive from a collapsed apartment building in Izmir, Turkey, after more than 65 hours being trapped under rubble.
The rescue workers on Monday morning were moved into tears as they pulled out the little girl alive after Friday’s earthquake.
The girl has been identified by authorities as Elif Perincek. As being reported her mother and two others were rescued earlier, but unfortunately one of her siblings died.
The three-year-old was taken to hospital and is being treated in intensive care.
Turkish health minister Fahrettin Koca said that the girl had not sustained any serious fractures or muscle crush injuries and was in good condition.
