On Monday, Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Siraj ul Haq tendered his resignation from his post after his party failed to win even a single National Assembly seat in the February 8 general elections.
Accepting his failure in the elections, the JI leader said: “Despite sincere efforts and hard work, I could not get the desired success in the elections.”
