The KSE-100 index jumped past the 55,000 mark on Friday, setting a new Pakistan Stock Exchange’s (PSX) benchmark!
The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) surged past the previous record of 54,261 during intraday trading.
The KSE-100 index opened at 54,261.42 points and around 10 am, it reached 55,253.19 points, up by 991.77 or 1.83% from the previous close.
By 12 pm, the index rose by another 300 points to see a cumulative increase of 1,102.69.
The trade volume at the time was 55,364.11.
According to Arif Habib Limited, the KSE-100 index crossed the 55,000 level trading to reach an all-time high.
