Major blow to Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) pulls out of Karachi Mayor polls on Monday.
As reported, more than 30 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) UC chairmen and vice chairmen will not take part in the upcoming elections for Karachi mayor and deputy mayor.
The development comes as over 30 PTI UC chairmen and vice chairmen held a session in Karachi and decided not to vote in favor of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) mayor candidate Hafiz Naeemur Rehman.
Tehreek-e-Insaf Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh announced to remain neutral in the Karachi Mayoral elections.
The mayoral elections are scheduled to be held on June 15 (Thursday).
