Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Dr. Muhamamd Faisal Wednesday said there is no Pakistani among those killed in a stampede in Karbala.
The FO spokesperson in a statement said that the Pakistan Embassy Camp Office in Karbala is closely monitoring the situation, where at least 31 pilgrims were killed and dozens injured on Tuesday in a stampede incident.
Furthermore, the spokesperson has extended sincere condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
The incident occurred as a walkway collapsed during the Ashura ceremony in Karbala.
