Pakistan Reports more than 4000 COVOD-19 cases for the first time in the last 8 months.
According to the data available with the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Friday, 4,368 new cases were reported.
Furthermore, as many as 63 deaths were reported during the last 24 hours, increasing the death toll to 14,091.
The positivity rate also rose to 10.1%, as the total coronavirus caseload for Pakistan increased to 640,998 cases.
A total of 38,858 tests were conducted across the country on Thursday and as a result, the number of total tests conducted so far has increased to 9,976,791.
According to NCOC, 2,170 patients have recovered in a day. However, the condition to 171 patients is stated to be critical.

Earlier in the day, Federal Minister for Planning and NCOC Chief, Asad Umar informed that vaccine registration for people above 50 in Pakistan will start from March 30.
“Registration of those who are 50 plus for covid vaccination will be opened on March 30th. Registration of those who are 60 and older has already been open. Encourage everybody who is 50 plus to register when the registration is opened for them on the 30th,” Asad Umar notified in his tweet.
