Pakistan to observe Holy Quran Day on July 7 to denounce the Sweden incident!
The decision was made in a meeting headed by Prime Minister Shehbaz.
The meeting discussed the Sweden incident and emphasized the need for a united national response.
PM has appealed to the entire nation, irrespective of political affiliations, to participate in the protest rallies, stating that the collective voice of the Pakistani people would send a strong message to those with nefarious intentions.
“Speaking with one voice, the whole nation will give a message to the evil minds,” said the premier.
PM maintained that the nation will observe the “Youm-e-Taqaddus Quran” on Friday.
In addition to the protest rallies, Prime Minister Shehbaz directed the calling of a joint session of the Parliament on Thursday to formulate a national plan of action in response to the Sweden incident.
“The sentiments and feelings of the nation should be fully expressed through the forum of parliament,” the PM added.
The joint session will unanimously pass a resolution against the recent incident of desecration of the holy book in Sweden, he added.
The decision has been made in response to the recent desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden, which has sparked outrage and condemnation across the world.
