Parvez Elahi is suffering from a rib fracture after falling in Adiala Jail’s bathroom.
An anti-corruption court was informed on Tuesday, March 19 that former Punjab chief minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi fell in the bathroom of the jail on March 17.
As reported, the senior politician is suffering from multiple injuries amid the bathroom fall.
According to medical reports of Elahi, the fourth rib on his right side was fractured after falling into the washroom of jail.
The former chief minister also injured his forehead during the fall; visible marks were noted on the left side of his head, according to the medical report.
Furthermore, there were injuries near his left eye and on his left arm while swelling was also observed on the right side of his chest.
Elahi’s left knee was also injured in the fall according to the X-rays taken in the jail.
As reported, The doctors of PIMS Hospital in Islamabad and Benazir Bhutto Hospital Rawalpindi examined the former chief minister.
The panel of senior doctors included general surgeons, cardiologists and orthopaedic experts.
Elahi has been advised by the doctors to rest for two weeks.
The jail superintendent submitted the medical reports to the Anti-Terrorism Court of Islamabad.
