Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) lawmaker in Sindh Sharjeel Memon has tested positive for coronavirus, the MPA announced on Sunday saying that he has quarantine himself in home.
Memon, 45 attended the session of provincial assembly two days ago. Currently, he is the focal person of Sindh government for coronavirus in Hyderabad.
The PPP MPA requested everyone to pray for his speedy recovery.

Earlier on Thursday, the lawmaker of PML-N Punjab Assembly, Mian Naveed Ali from Pakpattan had tested positive for COVID-19.
Naveed, in a telephonic conversation to a private news channel told that he got himself tested for the infection after experiencing symptoms. He said that his health had deteriorated over the past few days.
The PML-N MPA said that after his test for the highly contagious disease came back positive, he isolated himself at home and his condition is getting better now.
