Quetta Bomb Blast: 4 policemen martyred, several injured

An IED explosion close to the police vehicle leaves 4 policemen martyred, several injured in Quetta.

11 injured are reported to be policemen and civilians. This is a developing story; further updates are being awaited.

As being reported an IED (Improvised explosive device) exploded close to a police van near a mosque during Namaz-e-Taraveeh in Mini Market of Satellite Town area, of the provincial capital.

The injured were shifted to the Civil Hospital, where emergency has been imposed.

Police van and several other parked vehicles were reportedly damaged. Security personnel arrived at the spot, which has been cordoned off, while further investigations are underway.

Today’s bomb blast in Quetta comes two days after a terrorist attack on Pearl Continental Hotel, Gwadar in which three people were killed while four were injured.
