Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf nominee, Dr Arif Alvi has been elected as 13th President of Pakistan, according to unofficial and unconfirmed results. Till this presidential election Dr. Arif has represented the NA 250 constituency from Karachi’s District South from 2013-18 and he was also elected in the 2018 general elections.
Dr. Arif Alvi contested against joint opposition candidate JUI-F cheif Maulana Fazlur Rehman and PPP candidate Aitzaz Ahsan. According to the unofficial and results he received 320 electoral votes. The other candidate Fazlur Rehman 159 and Aitzaz Ahsan 120 votes, while the results from the Punjab Assembly are being awaited.
