Things are moving towards the worst. After two Indian jets crossed Pakistani airspace and very chased away after dropping their loads on Tuesday, two more tried crossing Pakistani territory, Wednesday morning.
“Today, Pakistan Air Force undertook strikes across Line of Control from within Pakistani airspace,” the foreign minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, said in a statement.
According to sources, one of the jets fell in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, while the second one in IoK. The Pakistan military said two planes had been shot down with one pilot captured.
“In response to PAF strikes this morning as released by MoFA, IAF crossed LOC. PAF shot down two Indian aircrafts inside Pakistani airspace. One of the aircraft fell inside AJ&K while other fell inside IOK. One Indian pilot arrested by troops on ground while two in the area,” said Major General Asif Ghafoor.
Contrary to Pakistani reports, India media reports about two pilots killed after a Mig 21 plane crashed in Occupied Kashmir’s Budgam District due to technical problems.
Tensions between the two countries have escalated ever since the Pulwama attack took place in IoK on the 14th of February. Twitter has been in a turmoil ever since the attack;
