Ihsanullah was misdiagnosed for his elbow injury

According to sources, Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi will take action against the PCB doctor for his negligence

Fast pacer Ihsanullah, 21, is reported to have been misdiagnosed for his elbow injury!

The PCB doctors misdiagnosed Ehsanullah’s injury because of this the fastest bowler ever seen in the history of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has been out of cricket for a long time.

After suffering an elbow injury following the series against New Zealand, Ihsanullah’s career took a setback, sidelining him from major events like the Asia Cup and World Cup.

The revelation has left Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi furious with the board doctor over the mishandling of young fast bowler Ihsanullah’s injury.

According to sources, Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi will take action against the PCB doctor for his negligence.

“Mohsin Naqvi is upset after finding out the details of the incident. Chances are that some of the officials responsible for supervising Ihsanullah’s treatment will find themselves out of jobs very soon,” a source close to PCB was quoted as saying by The Press Trust of India (PTI).

The incorrect diagnosis and later a failed surgery in Lahore have prolonged the young pacer’s recovery.

As reported, PCB officials, including a senior doctor, initially misdiagnosed him, wasting time on rehabilitation.

Subsequently, a botched surgery led to the realization that he needed specialized treatment in the UK, funded by his PSL team, Multan Sultans.

PSL franchise Multan Sultans’ owner Ali Tareen earlier revealed that all expenses for Ihsanullah’s treatment abroad, as well as his living expenses, have been covered by the franchise.

Multan Sultans also provided accommodations for Ihsanullah and his family during his rehabilitation period in Lahore.

As reported, Ali Tareen has obtained permission from the PCB to send Ehsan to London for further consultation. And this has upset Naqvi who believes it was the responsibility of the board officials and medical panel to take good care of the fast bowler.

Ihsanullah gained prominence in the PSL season 8 with his impressive pace and subsequently represented Pakistan in several T20 and ODI matches.

Ihsanullah had impressed everyone with his pace against Afghanistan in Sharjah, finishing with six wickets in three matches while going for very few runs.
