Shoaib Malik to rejoin Pakistani squad in England on 9th May

All-rounder Shoaib Malik will be rejoining the Pakistani squad in Southampton on 9th May, after a 10-days leave.

He will be available for selection for the second One-Day International against England to be played on Saturday, 11th May.

Pakistan Cricket Board in a press release said, “Shoaib Malik will rejoin the Pakistan cricket team in Southampton on Thursday and will be available for selection for the second One-Day International against England to be played on Saturday, May 11”.

“The Pakistan cricket team management has given leave to Shoaib Malik so that he can return home to deal with a personal issue. He is expected to rejoin the team in 10 days’ time”, Said PCB in a statement on 29th of April, while discussing this matter in a press release.

“The PCB will not be making any further comments and fully expects all concerned to respect Shoaib’s privacy.”

Malik was granted 10 days leave by the Pakistan team management to return home to deal with a personal issue.
