‘End of an era’, Twitter bids farewell to Hafeez!

Mohammad Hafeez has announced retirement from international cricket on Monday.

He started his professional cricket journey in 2003.

He played his last match in the T20 World Cup 2021 semi-final against Australia.

Hafeez, aka The Professor, had earlier bid farewell to Test cricket in 2018.

The PCB took to social media to thank the cricketer for his trailblazing contributions to Pakistani cricket. “Thank you Hafeez”, it tweeted.

As soon as the former captain and veteran allrounder Mohammad Hafeez announced his decision to retire from international cricket, the Twitter timeline has been flooded with messages to bid adieu to Hafeez.
