Ranveer Singh as Don in the upcoming Don-3 leaves fans least impressed!

Fans termed Ranveer Singh as ‘Sasta Don’ after the makers revealed his first look in Don 3.

Both the previous films of the franchise featured superstar Shah Rukh Khan playing the lead.

Don 3 directed by Farhan Akhtar is scheduled to release in 2025.

Farhan Akhtar released a statement on Don 3 saying how the original Don left an impact with Amitabh Bachchan in the lead.

He wrote, “In 1978, a character created by Salim-Javed and portrayed by Mr. Amitabh Bachchan with effortless elan, captured the imagination of theatergoers across the country. That enigmatic character was Don.”

He continued, “In 2006, Don was reimagined and brought to life by Shah Rukh Khan in his own irresistibly charming way. From Don’s sardonic wit to his cool but menacing fury, Shah Rukh embodied his persona. As writer & director, I had a great time creating not one but two Don films with Shah Rukh, and both experiences remain very close to my heart.”

Farhan Akhtar is said to have waited for ten years for Shah Rukh Khan to agree to do Don 3. And now, Ranveer Singh has been officially crowned as the new ‘Don’.

But as a new era in Don 3 franchise begins having a new lead in the titular character which earlier featured Shah Rukh Khan, fans can’t handle it.
