There has been a lot of hype generated around the upcoming drama Aangan for Hum TV. Directed by Ehteshamuddin and starring an ensemble cast consisting of Ahsan Khan, Mawra Hocane, Ahad Raza Mir, Sajal Aly, Hira Mani, Sonya Hussyn and also Shahroz Sabzwari, Aangan is based on a novel by Khadija Mastur, of the same name.
For those, who haven’t read the Urdu version yet or find it too hard to glue themselves to a novel, Amazon has launched a Kindle version of Aangan, translated by well known author/translator Daisy Rockwell. Titled “The Women’s Courtyard,” the novel is available on Amazon with its Kindle version.
The drama is much talked about and has neared its last spell of shooting. Rumored to go on air in October, Aangan already has everybody excited with its star cast and now its English translation available on Kindle.
