Here is first look at Keanu Reeves’s comic book series

Hollywood star Keanu Reeves has found a new job! He is set to make his debut as an author with a comic book.

John Wick and The Matrix star has revealed the first look at his upcoming 12-issue limited comic book series titled BRZRKR.

The bloody and brutal series follows an immortal warrior’s fight through the ages, called Berzerker. He is cursed and compelled to violence even if it drives him insane.

Berzerker after walking the Earth for centuries might have discovered a refuge for his curse. He starts working with the United States government to take on missions too violent and too dangerous for anyone else.

In exchange to his services, he has been promised information about his violent existence and how he can terminate it.

 

While promoting his book, Keanu Reeves talked about his love for comics and how they have influenced him. 

“I have loved comics since I was a young kid and they have been a significant influence on me artistically”, he said.

“To have the chance to create BRZRKR and collaborate with legends in the industry like writer Matt Kindt, artist Alessandro Vitti, color artist Bill Crabtree, letterer Clem Robins, and conceptual/cover artist Rafael Grampá – along with the great folks at BOOM! Studios – is a dream come true’, he added.

The 12-issue limited series “BRZRKR”, is set to release monthly starting from October 7.
