Adnan Siddiqui apologises for his weird women-flies analogy

He believed that his words were misconstrued

Actor Adnan Siddiqui has apologised for his weird analogy between women and flies.

Taking to his Instagram story, the Mere Pass Tum Ho actor said he would like to address his recent statement that he made jestingly rather than to hurt someone.

He believed that his words were misconstrued, still, he sought an apology if he hurt someone’s feelings inadvertently, he said.

Adnan Siddiqui further stated in his story that he would be careful and speak in clear and plain words in the future.

“I’d like to address the recent comments I made, which were intended to be humorous and not to cause offense. Metaphors like ‘slippery as a snake’ are often used in a language. However, I understand how my words may have been misconstrued, and I regret any unintended offense. Moving forward, I will ensure my words are conveyed with greater clarity and sensitivity,” he wrote.

It all started when Adnan Siddiqui while making an appearance on a Ramadan Special show of a private channel said that flies and women were similar, the more you run after women, the more they will run away from you and if you sit down, they will sit on the hand like a fly.

While giving this example during the show, he said: “When I was running after a fly, it was running away and when I sat down, it came and sat on my nose.”
