Elon Musk on Monday teased a possible launch of X TV.
Taking to microblogging platform x, formerly Twitter, the Tesla founder shared a 12-second trailer for the application, sporting the logo for the first time.
The posted trailer shows dozens of flickering television screens bearing the ‘XTV’ logo.
The development comes as Musk vowed to turn the site into an ‘everything app’ which will be compatible with most smart devices.
As reported, the much-anticipated application will let its users stream long-form videos on smart televisions through the app which will reportedly stream via Amazon and Samsung.
X platform has already rolled out an early version of video and audio calling for some users last October after Musk had said he planned to turn it into a super app offering services from messaging to peer-to-peer payments.
It comes one day after, Elon Musk also promised that his long-awaited driverless cars would make a debut on the streets of China as he made a surprise visit to Beijing on Sunday.
