Bollywood star Sonali Bendre has shared another picture of her amidst the cancer treatment. Her fans were shocked all across the world, when she shared her illness news through social media few months ago. As she was diagnosed with high-grade cancer. Since then she seems to be quite active on social media. Time to time she keeps on sharing her photos, updates on her health and activities.
This post will definitely attract book lovers, as this time she took to social media to announce the new book for the “Sonali’s Book Club on Read A Book Day”. Sonali posted another picture of hers with a book and announced it to be her next read, with the caption, “Today is #ReadABookDay and what better way to celebrate it than by announcing the next book for #SBC! This one is a historical fiction set in Russia called “A Gentleman in Moscow” by @amortowles. The premise sounds pretty interesting, and I can’t wait to start reading it! #SonalisBookClub”
And a day before, Sonali also shared a small clip on her Instagram, showing her hair transformation during illness. She wrote a heartfelt letter in the caption of the post. she begins with a quote, “Vanity is my favourite sin – Al Pacino”.
Adding further to it she says, “The way we look has a profound psychological impact on us……If I want to walk around bald and free, I will. Only you know what would make you feel good, and what works best for you. So take every opportunity you can to #SwitchOnTheSunshine.
