The K-Electric (KE), the sole power supply company of the metropolis, is seeking Rs 18.86 per unit increase in fuel adjustment charges for 9 months.
In this regard, KE has filed an application with the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) for a fuel price adjustment for 9 months.
KE has asked for an increase of Rs 18.86 per unit in the monthly adjustment of 7 months.
As reported, K Electric has filed a monthly adjustment request for July 2023 to March 2024 requesting an increase in monthly adjustment of 7 months and a decrease in monthly adjustment of 2 months.
According to K Electric’s request, the increase of 7 months is Rs 18.86 per unit and 29 paisa has been requested as a reduction for 2 months, while after deducting the reduction of 2 months, the total increase will be Rs 18.57 per unit.
The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) will hear K Electric’s application on May 9.
