After proving her mettle as an actor and a producer with movies like Pari, Phillauri and NH10, Anushka Sharma is now moving on to production into the digital space. This time, the Sui Dhaaga actress will be producing a web series based on the journalist-author Tarun Tejpal’s ‘The Story of My Assassins’.
Tejpal’s novel is a thriller with suspense and dark humor. The novel dives into the world of corruption, poverty, passion and wealth along with a number of other topics. The title and production details of the web series are yet to be disclosed.
Anushka Sharma is a wonderful actress, having some of the top films to her credit including Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Band Baja Baraat and Sui Dhaaga. Sharma was last seen alongside Katrina Kaif and Shahrukh Khan in Aanand L Rai directorial Zero, where she played the role of a paralyzed scientist.
