Malala Yousafzai to guest star in Peacock‘s We Are Lady Parts Season 2

Series From Nida Manzoor and Universal International Studios, will be available on Peacock in the US and Channel 4 in the UK

Malala Yousafzai is set to appear as a guest star in Peacock‘s We Are Lady Parts Season 2.

As reported, We Are Lady Parts is returning with Season 2 on May 30, with all 6 new episodes available to binge. 

Although the showrunner announced the release of the new season on May 30, the team has not released any statement regarding Malala Yousafzai and Meera Syal.

 

According to Deadline, the web series will also feature Malala Yousafzai and Meera Syal in cameos.

Education Activist Malala Yousafzai and Comedian Meera Syal will likely be featured in the web series about their struggles and successes, how they faced the odds and rose to the top.

The first season of the musical web series We Are The Lady Parts was released in 2021 and now its second season will be released.

The story of the web series revolves around the struggle of young Muslim girls who manage to make a name for themselves in the world of music despite facing numerous problems.

All the characters in the web series are Muslim girls, but all the characters are portrayed from different races and cultures, all the characters grow up in the UK.

The series created, written, directed and executive produced by Manzoor Nida was originally commissioned by British broadcaster Channel 4 in August 2019, after originating as a comedy short as part of C4’s Blaps strand, with streamer Peacock coming on board later.
