Ariana Grande urges people to take coronavirus seriously

Coronavirus has been termed as a pandemic as it has been lethally spreading to all parts of the world. People are taking precautionary measures and whole towns have been shut down to stop the spread of the disease.

Even with such drastic number of casualties the world over, there are people who still downplay the intensity of the virus that just doesn’t seem to stop its spread.

Condemning the latter, singing sensation Ariana Grande stepped forward and asked people not to turn a blind eye to coronavirus.

Taking to her Twitter, the singer said: “I keep hearing from a surprising amount of people statements like ‘this isn’t a big deal’ / ‘we’ll be fine’… ‘we still have to go about our lives’ and it’s really blowing my mind.”

“I understand if that is how u felt weeks ago. but please read about what’s going on. please don’t turn a blind eye,” she added.

“It is incredibly dangerous and selfish to take this situation that lightly. The ‘we will be find because we’re young’ mindset is putting people who aren’t young and / or healthy in a lot of danger. you sound stupid and privileged and you need to care more about others. like now,” Ariana added further.

Ariana is also urging people to support the h.r.6201 bill so that people who have suffered as a result of coronavirus can be supported.
