Every human being on Earth currently recognizes that this is a tough time for mankind and we have to unite to fight against coronavirus forgetting ranks, caste, nationality and just about everything else.
Realizing this fact, Hassan Akkad, a BAFTA-winning filmmaker, joined the NHS as a hospital cleaner to pitch in his share to fight the spread of coronavirus.
Hassan Akkad, won a BAFTA for Best Factual Series in 2017 for the three-part documentary film ‘Exodus: Our Journey to Europe’.
The filmmaker took to his Twitter to share his intention of joining the NHS frontline to help medical professionals fight off COVID19.
“Honoured to join an army of cleaners disinfecting COVID wards our local hospital after receiving training, ” stated the 23-year-old Syrian filmmaker.
“London has been my home since leaving Syria and the least I can do is making sure my neighbors and the amazing NHS staff are safe and sound,” he added further.
