Bushra Iqbal, the ex-wife of late televangelist Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain, reacted to Dania Shah’s arrest.
Syeda Bushra Iqbal finally broke her silence and revealed the reasons why she is fighting for the late Aamir Liaquat.
It seems like her statement comes in response to the allegations slapped by Dania Shah’s mother following her arrest.
In a statement shared on social media, Bushra Iqbal said, “Firstly, she was legally divorced; therefore, she shouldn’t claim that she is Aamir’s wife. And even if we assume that she is his wife, like Dania’s mother claims in relation to the property worth crores, it means that their family is still latched onto the money.”
“A person has gone to the grave and you’re still concerned about the money,” she said
Bushra Iqbal said: “I am Aamir Liaquat’s ex-wife hence I have nothing to do with his money. Because Aamir was an innocent man, I am merely fighting for him to bring about justice for him. There are a lot of Amir’s fans who were hurt over what happened to him. Dania’s divorce was finalized and she was trying to extort money from Amir since day one of their marriage.”
“Dania was blackmailing Amir to leak his private videos. Aamir was innocent and he suffered a lot. Therefore, I am doing all this just to get justice for Aamir and it is between me and Allah,” she added.
Here is what Bushra Iqbal said:
A day earlier, a local court in Karachi rejected the FIA’s plea seeking Dania’s physical remand and sent her to jail on a 14-day judicial remand.
Dania Shah was arrested from Lodheran in a case pertaining to uploading compromising videos of her husband Aamir Liaquat Hussain on social media.
