Shah Mehmood Qureshi replaces Imran Khan as PTI parliamentary group leader at NA

Imran Khan has been stripped of NA membership after being disqualified.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi replaced party chairman Imran Khan as PTI parliamentary group leader at the National Assembly on Monday.

According to the sources within the National Assembly (NA) secretariat said that Khan’s membership had been cancelled by the competent authority from the seat that provided his entry to the House.

PTI Chairman Khan after being stripped of the parliament’s membership following his disqualification, cannot enter the House now.

The National Assembly Speaker Secretariat has declared Shah Mahmood Qureshi parliamentary group leader of the PTI in the House in place of Imran Khan.
