Creed 2 is on its way next year in November, reveals Sylvester Stallone

Get ready for another action packed sports drama film, as 2015 block buster Creed gets a sequel, Creed 2. It was revealed by none other than Sylvester Stallone via his Instagram writing with simple caption,” Creed 2… Next November.”

Creed was a spin off and sequel to the Rocky film series, becoming seventh installment of the Rocky films. Creed 2 will be its sequel and mark the 8th and last installment of the Rocky film series. This sports drama film is written by Sylvester Stallone and Cheo Hodari Coker, and is being directed by Steven Caple Jr. It is also reported that this sequel will be dedicated to Tony Burton who has appeared in six of the Rocky films and passed away in February 2016.

The star cast of film include Michael B. Jordan, Sylvester Stallone, Tessa Thompson, Dolph Lundgern, Florian Munteanu, Phylicia Rashad, Andre Ward and Wood Harris. All the actors will be reprising their roles from the previous part.

Sylvester Stallone has been lately busy with the Creed 2 filming. He was in Philadelphia at the same location from Rocky Part one, where rocky Balboa used to live. Rocky revisited the old home in the neighbor hood and posted it on his Instagram.

So far 2019 will be getting two of Sylvester Stallone movies, both featuring super star in two of its iconic characters, Rocky and Rambo. It was few days ago when Sylvester Stallone announced the sequel to his Rambo series, Rambo 5.
