Sylvester Stallone returns to screens with Rambo V

71 year old action super star Sylvester Stallone will be appearing again as John Rambo in its 5th edition of the series. Stallone hasn’t made a Rambo movie in a decade last 10 years, but is now gearing up for the fifth film of the Rambo franchise. It was revealed by no other than Sylvester Stallone himself via an Instagram post. The actor wrote an interesting caption for his post saying, “Something wicked is coming this way”.

The director for Rambo V has not been announced yet but the production for this film is reported to start, this September. Hot spots for film locations include London, Bulgaria and the Canary Islands. Millennium Media, the producer of the film will be selling the international rights for Rambo V at the Cannes film festival 2018 which has already begun on 8th May.

Sylvester Stallone will take on the Mexican sex trafficking cartel in Rambo 5, reports foreign media. Story synopsis reveals that in this part Stallone will be returning to action in the long running series that finds him living in a ranch in Arizona, deeply troubled and fighting with PTSD as he picks up casual work wherever he can. The story will develop as a long time family friend and estate manager Maria informs Rambo that her granddaughter has gone missing after crossing into the Mexico border for a party. Rambo, who will set off with her to find the youngster, will uncover a sex trafficking ring, teaming up with a journalist along the way, whose sister has also been kidnapped

The first film of the series, First Blood, was released in October 1982 and it’s commercial success produced two sequels, Rambo: First Blood: Part II in May 1985 and Rambo III in May 1988, which were also blockbusters. Right from the beginning, John Rambo was  one of the iconic Hollywood movie characters. The most recent addition to the Rambo film franchise was released in January 2008, titled Rambo making it its 4th part.
