Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has shared a Meghan Markle quote on Instagram showing solidarity with Meghan Markle.
The quote says, “Women don’t need to find a voice. They have a voice. They need to feel empowered to use it, and people need to be encouraged to listen”, which Clinton shared on Instagram.
Reportedly, this was quoted by Meghan two years ago in February 2018 – at the first annual Royal Foundation Forum. The former actress was addressing the Times Up and #MeToo movements when she made the remarks.
The post comes a notable time when both the ladies made into the headlines and are facing increased media coverage.
Clinton made headlines in January for comments she made about presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders, while Markle has made the news for her decision to step back from royal duties with Prince Harry.
