British actor, best known for his character Heimdall in Thor, has signed a first-look deal with Apple TV under which he’ll be producing films and series for the online streaming service. The deal makes Elba land among the noted celebrities who are on board the Apple ship with the first-look deal.
As per Variety, the 47-year old actor “will produce global series and features for the platform via his Green Door Pictures production company” that he founded in 2013.

The banner has so far produced The Long Run, Netflix comedy series Turn Up Charlie, short-form shows The Idris Takeover and 5 5 and upcoming movie Concrete Cowboy.
Other celebrities who have signed up for Apple’s online streaming site include Oprah Winfrey, Alfonso Cuaron, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Justin Lin, Kerry Ehrin, Jason Katims, Lee Eisenberg, Monica Beletsky, Sharon Horgan, Alena Smith, and Simon Kinberg so far.
