Actor Kevin Spacey has been cleared of all charges in his sexual assault trial by the court in London.
On Wednesday, a U.K. jury found Kevin Spacey not guilty of nine charges of sexual assault, indecent assault, and – the most serious charge – causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity.
As reported, the jury returned not guilty verdicts for nine sexual offense charges relating to four men between 2001 and 2013.
The 64-year-old Oscar winner actor had denied the allegations and previously called the case against him “weak”.
The former “House of Cards” actor cried at Southwark Crown Court as the not-guilty verdicts were read out.
During the course of the four weeks trial, the jury heard from the four men who had made the complaints against the actor whose names are not revealed amid legal reasons.
