Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle has planned to move into a historic cottage on the royal family’s Windsor Estate early next year, an announcement Kensington Palace has made on Saturday.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and his pregnant wife Meghan Markal, after marrying in May will live in Frogmore Cottage, a two –storey stucco-faced house in Windsor Home Park close to the castle.
The couple will relocate around 20 miles Southwest of London to their home.
“They prepare for the arrival of their first child”, the Palace said in a statement.
“Windsor is a very special place for their Royal Highnesses and they are grateful for their official residence will be on the estate,” it added.
Prince Harry and Meghan, who returned this month from a 16-day tour Pacific tour, currently live in Nottingham Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace in West London.
Frogmore Cottage is going to need some renovations before Meghan, Harry and (presumably) baby move in early next year. Right now the cottage consists of five units, which have been occupied by palace staff. A remodel will turn the abode into a 10-bedroom home complete with nursery, gym, and yoga studio. The move comes as the couple has professed to want to raise their child as normally as possible—even teaching baby to take the tube. Meghan is reportedly due in Spring 2019.
